I was paddling around Oceania in a kayak with David Attenborough and a nature photographer. I saw a tiny island, about two feet in diameter, a miniature of the side strip in the garden–there were stiff bristles of half-dying green onions, yellowed at the tops, and tiny sprouts of new bright green grass, and other little sprouts and shrubs–but as the light struck the tiny island it became incredibly beautiful, shining green and gold and gray in the slightly misty ocean light. I told the photographer to take a picture and a wide, joyful smile spread over David Attenborough’s face; they were both incredibly pleased that I had noticed this tiny jewel.

There were tropical forests on another nearby, normal-sized island.

It was Monday, October 4, and when I went to work I found that everyone had dressed up for Halloween because they were celebrating early.

A cat bit my foot during an eclipse. Its teeth went straight through my toenail and some blood was oozing out.

I went for a walk with Rahul. He told me nice things–how much I meant to him, how wonderful I was. We walked past a garden with a tall fence around it (wood-framed with chicken wire).

I found out Serena had started her period in November, 6 months ago (in my dream), at the age of 10. She had been hiding it for months. My stepdad found out when Serena was sick and he was cleaning the toilet; he said analysis of the proteins he found in the toilet bowl revealed that the proteins came from blood, and she had been menstruating. She still looked so young.

Later in my dream, I was in a high school. I think I had to go back to school for some new required class.

I was kissing this guy and he started kissing my neck; I kissed him back; then I realized that he was going to keep me prisoner and would not let me go from his house. He grasped my wrist. Later, his parents were home and in the kitchen and I went to brush my teeth in the bathroom. I had some idea that I would spit mouthwash in the guy’s eyes and make a run for it; then I realized that he thought I wouldn’t leave (the bathroom was near the door) because my shoes were on the other side of him. I opened the door and walked out. Because his parents were there, he didn’t dare come after me. I ran through a park in my bare feet and escaped.
